Troubleshooting
Should you have any problems during the operation of this compact disc player please check that all the controls are set to their proper
positions and that all connections are correct (refer to this manual for the proper procedures). If a problem persists refer to the advice
below.
If the problem can not be corrected with the instructions below, write down the model and serial number and all pertinent data regard-
ing warranty coverage, as well as a clear description of the problem, and contact your nearest AKAI service centre.
The CD player will not turn on.
© Check to see if the power cord is connected securely to the house-

Remote control will not operate.
e The batteries are weak.
Replace ail the batteries.
@ The CD player is in direct sunlight or is too close to a strong light
source.
Change the CD player's position.
Direct search function will not take place.
e@ The PROG indicator is on the FL display.
Press the CLEAR button to cancel programmed playback, or use the
é<¢ or BPI buitons to find the track you want.
Auto edit will not function.
® The PROG indicator is on the FL display.
