The Masterpump electric test pump is the ideal tool for checking water pressure in pipes,
pressure vessels, valves and other critical components in industries such as marine, oil, cons-
truction and chemical. Its precise and reliable performance is a guarantee to maintain safety
and effectiveness in your operations, standing out for its power, ergonomics and efficiency.
PRESSURE CHECK
1. Close the check valve (A) to prevent the water in the circuit to be tested from emptying and
connect the water inlet hose with its corresponding filters (B), the outlet hose to the circuit (C)
and the transparent drain hoses. and pressure adjustment. Make sure that the water that will
be taken to enter the circuit is clean and free of impurities.
2. Fully open the pressure adjustment valve (E) and turn on the pump (F). It will need to eva-
cuate the air from the circuit to prime itself, wait a few seconds until it has begun to suck
water from the fountain. The fact of not inserting the transparent pressure adjustment hose
under the water of the fountain until the pump circuit has been filled helps to ensure that there
is no external pressure, in addition to atmospheric pressure, that makes it difficult to remove
air.
3. Once the water is circulating inside the pump, slowly close the pressure adjustment valve (E)
until the desired pressure is reached and turn off the pump. Please note that this machine
is designed to work below 60 bar, although it is capable of developing higher pressures. If
the engine is forced to climb to excessively high pressures or work at high pressures for an
extended period of time, the engine protection system will act, automatically shutting down
the engine. It should also be considered that the check pump is not designed to move large
quantities of water for a long time, but rather its use focuses on its ability to raise the pressure
once the circuit to be analyzed is practically full, especially on large circuits.
4. If you want to empty the circuit or reduce the pressure of the container, open the check valve
(A) to remove the necessary water.

FILLING IN STAGES
If you want to fill in stages, that is, raise the circuit pressure to different values and stop the
pump at each one to check that there are no losses, you must take into account the volume of
water necessary to raise the pressure. In large circuits, raising the pressure will require a grea-
ter amount of water, so filling in stages could demand too much from the engine. If in doubt,
consult the manufacturer's technical department.
