If the blade is not exactly at 45°:
• Loosen the miter locking lever located at the rear of the cutting
head and tilt the cutting head to the 45° mark.
• Place a 45° square against the blade and adjust the head to 45°.
• Loosen the locking nut and with a hexagonal key, rotate the 45°
adjustment screw until the blade is at 45° from the table and the
adjustment screw rests on the saw arm.
• Tighten the screw and locking nut firmly and tighten the miter
locking lever and verify adjustment.
NOTE: Contact the RUBI after-sales service to receive technical
support, or if you do not have the tools necessary for making
the adjustment.
7.5 BRUSHES
Inspect the carbon brushes regularly.
• With the saw unplugged, remove the brush covers located on the
sides of the motor by turning counter-clockwise with a regular
screw driver and remove the brushes to check their condition.
• Keep the brushes clean and sliding freely in their housing.
• When the brushes reach the end of their useful life, always replace
them with original spare brushes.
• Replace acceptably inspected or new brushes in reverse order
and replace brush covers by tightening clockwise with a regular
screwdriver.

7.6 AFTER-SALES SERVICE
Use only original spare parts supplied by the manufacturer.
Repairs should only be done by certified workshops or RUBI's

8. GUARANTEE
The guarantee covers all manufacturing or assembly defects in
accordance with the legislation in force. The guarantee does not
cover malfunctions cause by improper use, overloads, failure to follow
the operating instructions and normal wear and tear. Handling by
personnel other than our Official Service shall void the guarantee.
The proof of purchase must be included with this document
for any claims.
