Disposal
Electrical appliances in accordance with Directive
2012/19/EU and batteries/rechargeable batteries in accor-
dance with Directive 2006/66/EC must not be disposed of
with household waste.
Electrical appliances and rechargeable batteries must be
collected separately and taken to a recycling company for
environmentally friendly disposal.
If the products contain batteries/rechargeable batteries or il-
luminants that can be removed from the old appliance with-
out destroying it, these must be removed before disposal
and disposed of separately as batteries/rechargeable batter-
ies or illuminants.
Ask the local authorities or your specialist dealer/manufac-
turer about recycling centers and collection points for the
proper disposal of electrical waste and batteries/recharge-
able batteries.
Transport
Li-ion batteries are subject to hazardous goods legislation
and must therefore comply with the requirements for
hazardous goods labelling and transport packaging when
transported by third parties.
However, transport by road by the user is possible without
any requirements.
Only batteries with undamaged casings may be shipped.
The battery must be packed in such a way that it cannot
move, and open contacts must be taped shut.

This BERNER product has been manufactured with
utmost care, tested for proper operation and safety

BERNER guarantees that it is in perfect condition and

proper working order.

BHAB 2300E-1 is guaranteed for 12 months or
1000 hours of operation, each commencing on the date
of sale to the consumer. We will remedy defects caused

by material flaws or manufacturing faults. The warranty will

be met by repair or replacement of defective parts at our
own discretion. This guarantee does not cover damage to
wearing parts, damage or defects caused by improper
treatment or maintenance nor does it cover breakage
as a result of the product being dropped. Further conse-
quential damage to other objects shall be excluded.
Claims under warranty shall only be accepted if the prod-
uct is sent fully assembled and well packed complete with
sales receipt or invoice (date of purchase and dealer's
stamp) to the appropriate Service Centre or handed in to
the dealer within the first 6 months.
Repair service:
If defects occur outside the warranty
period or are not covered by warranty,
ask your nearest service station for the possibility of repair.
