A. Introduction
The DMT600 Series multimeter is a portable device with stable and reliable operation. It allows you to
measure:
• DC direct current voltage
• AC alternating current voltage
• intensity of the DC current
• resistence
• operation of a diode
• buzzer function (buzzer)
B. Safety rules
• This multimeter complies with EN61010-1: 2010, pollution degree 2, CAT II 500V, CAT III 300V with
double insulation. Use the appliance only as indicated in this manual. Otherwise the protection may
prove inadequate.
• Before use, carefully check the insulation of the probes and make sure there are no damaged parts.
• Replace the battery as soon as the battery indicator shows low level. ". With a low battery, the
multimeter may produce erroneous readings. Before replacing the battery make sure the probes are
disconnected.
• Set the device to the correct function and range before taking measurements.
• Measured values beyond the maximum range may damage the device or cause shock.
• To avoid damage to the device, do not turn the knob during measurement.
• When measurement is performed on an effective voltage greater than 60V DC or 30V rms AC, special
attention must be paid to the danger of shock.
• For replacement, only use fuses of the correct type and value:
• F 0.5A/500V (5 x 20 mm)
• F 10A/500V (5 x 20 mm)
• Do not use or store the multimeter in a high temperature, humidity environment.
• Do not modify the internal circuit to avoid compromising the operation of the appliance and the
safety of the user.
