1 SAFETY REGULATIONS
1.1 Introduction
Before using this device, all persons authorized to operate,
repair or inspect the unit must read the following safety and
operating instructions :

The operator is responsible for his own safety, and for that of
other persons in the working area. He must therefore be aware
of, and respect, all safety regulations.

2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
2.1. Specifications
This apparatus is a cooling unit, designed to cool the torches
used in MIG, MAG welding machines item 375 and 304.

2.3 Description of protections
2.3.1. "Coolant pressure" protection
This protection is created by a pressure switch, fitted on the
coolant delivery circuit, which controls a microswitch fitted.
2.4 Description of the apparatus
A) Cooling unit connector.
B) Tank cap.
C) Slot for checking the coolant level.
J1-J2) Rapid joints for the torch cooling tubes.
K1-K2) Rapid joints for extension cooling tubes (only for item
S00304).
3 INSTALLATION
3.1 Setting up
The unit must be installed by qualified personnel.
All connections effected must comply with the current
standards and with the law on safety at work.
3.2 Installation (see page 2)
Connecting the cooling unit to the power source:
1) Remove the closing panel, located on the front of the
power source (PICTURE B);
2) Remove the rear closing panel (PICTURE D);
3) Put the unit in the special compartment (PICTURE C);
4) Connect the mains lead of the unit to the lead coming from
the power source (PICTURE E);
5) Refit the rear panel by turning it upside down.
3.3 Installation
The unit must be installed by qualified personnel. All
connections effected must comply with the current standards
and with the law on safety at work.
Before connecting up the mains lead, ensure that the power
source is turned off, that the hoses are already connected, the
power supply voltage corresponds to that indicated on the
technical data plate, and the earth plug is efficient.
In order to fill the tank completely, unscrew the cap (B) and fill
in the missing liquid. The cooling unit is supplied with a
minimum amount of coolant. The customer is responsible for
filling in the tank before using the system.
Connect the welding torch and all of the connecting hoses, so
that when the power souce is turned on, the coolant begins to
circulate, than top up the tank to the "max." level.
