COMPONENTS
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove the different components from the packaging, check that they are complete and intact,
carefully remove any protections and labels. The package contains:
•
No. 1 Kettle
•
No. 1 Bottom base with power cord
•
No. 1 User Manual
2. Make sure that all parts are assembled correctly and in place before use.
3. If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended to clean it before use. This will
maximise the water boiling capacity of the kettle. Then discard the water and clean the outer
surface as indicated in the paragraph "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".
OPERATION
1. Place the kettle on a flat and stable surface.
2. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the lid by pressing the lid opening
button.
3. Then fill with the desired amount of water (respecting the maximum MAX and minimum MIN level
shown inside the kettle) and close the lid.
DANGER: Do not fill the kettle above the maximum level,
the water may spill out of the spout during boiling and cause
burns and/or other injuries. Make sure that the lid is securely
locked before connecting the appliance to the power supply.
4. Place the kettle correctly on the power base.
5. Connect the plug to the wall outlet. Turn on the light by bringing the switch to (I) and the operating
LED light lights up. The electric kettle will then start to heat the water and, once the boiling
temperature is reached, the appliance turns off and the switch automatically returns to position
(0).
6. It is possible to turn off the kettle at any time by bringing the switch to (0). If you want to bring the
water to a boil again, simply bring the switch to (I).
