Each of the three outputs of the Instagrid
LINK is monitored by an independent residu-
al current device. This enables the operation
of up to three loads on a non-earthed source
in accordance with the specifications of DIN
VDE 0100-551, provided that a maximum of
one load is connected per output. The use of
consumers of protection class 1 is explicit-
ly included.
• The Instagrid LINK is also used to automa-
tically select one of a maximum of three AC
voltage sources, which is then conductively
connected to the three outputs.
When switching between two sources (e.g.
household socket to Instagrid ONE or GO),
the mains form (e.g. TN-C-S after protective
separation) may change at the output of the
Instagrid LINK.
• The Instagrid LINK fulfils strict limit values
both for the emission of electromagnetic
interference and for immunity to such inter-
ference, making it equally suitable for use in
residential and industrial areas.
• The Instagrid LINK fulfils the requirements of
protection class IP54 and is therefore suitable
for indoor and outdoor use.

ting from improper use.
Instructions for use
Warning!
The rated voltage of the Instagrid LINK must
match the rated voltage of the connected AC
voltage sources.
Structure of a power distribution
In the first step, make sure that all loads to be
connected to the Instagrid LINK are switched
off. In the second step, connect the loads to the
outputs of the Instagrid LINK. Finally, connect
the inputs of the Instagrid LINK to the intended
AC voltage sources. If these are Instagrid ONE
or GO, make sure that these sources are initially
switched off and are only activated after the cable
has been connected at both ends.
Deconstruction
In the first step, make sure that all loads to be
connected to the Instagrid LINK are switched off.
In the second step, disconnect the loads from the
outputs of the Instagrid LINK. Finally, disconnect
the inputs of the Instagrid LINK from the AC
voltage sources provided.
Error case
When the internal protective function is activa-
ted or the device is switched off automatically,
all LEDs light up red. (See Fig. 06, page 11). In this
case, disconnect all connected loads and sources
from the device. When the internal protective
function is activated or the device is switched off
automatically, all LEDs light up red. (see Fig. 06,
page 11). In this case, disconnect all connected
loads and sources from the device.
Prioritisation of inputs: PRI vs. SEC
1.1 If an AC voltage is present at the primary input
(PRI), this input is always connected to the out-
puts, regardless of the status of the other inputs.
1.1.1 The transition from a secondary input (SEC) to
the primary input (PRI) is time-delayed so that a
restored AC voltage source is not abruptly loaded.
1.2 If there is no AC voltage at the primary input
(PRI), the system switches to one of the seconda-
ry inputs (SEC) without delay
1.2.1 If an AC voltage is present at both secondary
inputs (SEC), the centre one is preferred.
2. Prioritisation of inputs: SEC vs. SEC (PingPong)
2.1 A secondary input (SEC) remains active as long
as voltage is applied to this input. If this condition
is not (or no longer) fulfilled, the system switches
to the remaining secondary input (SEC).
2.1.1 In conjunction with Instagrid ONE or GO as
sources on both secondary inputs (SEC), this
ensures that one source is fully discharged before
the second source is discharged.
Maintenance and cleaning
Apart from the activities described below, no
maintenance work by the user is intended or
permitted.
Cleaning:
Before cleaning the device, remove all connected
loads or supply cables and ensure that all socket
covers are closed. Check the device for damage; a
damaged device must not be cleaned.
Damp cleaning of the Instagrid LINK is permitted,
but care must be taken to ensure that no water
