4.1 Cleaning the multi-cleaner [Fig. M1]

1. Clean the multi-cleaner with a damp cloth (do not immerse the brush
unit or clean it under running water).

1. Remove the battery.
2. Charge the battery without the battery protective cover
(see 3.1 Charging the battery).
3. Clean the multi-cleaner, the battery and the battery charger
(see 4. MAINTENANCE).
4. Store the multi-cleaner, battery and battery charger in a dry, enclosed
place where they are protected from frost.
5. Do not store the multi-cleaner supported on the brush.
This prevents deformation of the brush.

6.1 Replacing the brushes
The GARDENA spare parts are available from your GARDENA dealer
or from GARDENA Service.
Only the following 3 GARDENA brushes may be used:
• GARDENA Roller Brush Universal Art. 14848: For cleaning wooden
surfaces. Ideal for decking boards and decks made of wood, soft and
hardwood sections, WPC and BPC. Not suitable for sealed surfaces.
• Gardena Roller Brush Medium Art. 14849: For powerful cleaning.
Ideal for coarse dirt such as moss and green growth. Suitable for stone
surfaces (smooth paving stones, tiles and concrete blocks). Not suita-
ble for sealed surfaces.
• GARDENA Disc Brush Soft Art. 14847: For gentle cleaning. Ideal for
light cleaning work on surfaces. Ideal for cleaning hard-to-reach areas,
corners and edges, steps and plinths.
6.1.1 Replacing the roller brush [Fig. T1]
If the housing of the cordless multi-cleaner touches the ground while
cleaning the ground due to wear, the brush must be replaced.
There are 2 GARDENA roller brushes available:
v Only use an original GARDENA Roller Brush.
