The further safety instructions for the grinder operation
Rebound and the relative warnings
The rebound is a sudden reaction force from the jammed or wound wheel in rotation, which has blocked the
rotary accessories rapidly. As a result, the uncontrolled power tools and accessories generate the rotational
direction opposite to the movement at the stuck point.
For example, the wheel may be climbed out or rebound if it has been twisted or jammed by the processed
accessories. The wheel may fly to or fly from the operator according to the movement direction caused by the
twisted or jammed wheel. Under these conditions, the wheel may be broken.
The rebound is the result of misusage of power tools and / or incorrect operating procedures or criteria, which
can be prevented by the following appropriate precautions.
a) Hold the power tools tightly, make your body and arm in the correct state to resist rebound. Use the
auxiliary handle always if any, which can maximize control to the rebound or counter moment from the start.
The operator can control the anti-torque or rebound if any appropriate precaution.
b) Do not close to the rotating accessory with hands since it may injure the hands.
c) Do not stand in the place where the power tool may be rebound and wound, drive the reverse action of
power tool against the direction of movement of grinding wheel.
d) Be careful especially when operate with the corners, sharp edges, etc. to avoid accessories to be rebound
and wound, because the corners, sharp edges, etc. operation may cause the risk out of control.
e) Do not assemble the saw chain, woodcarving blade or toothed saw blade because they will have frequent
and uncontrolled rebound.
Special Safety Warnings of Grinding Operation
a) Use the recommended wheel models and the protective cover designed specially for the wheel only. The
grinder which is not designed for the power tool is unsafe.
b) The protective cover must be fixed on the power tool tightly and safely with the minimum wheel part
exposed in front of the operator, which prevents the operator from the risk of burst wheel fragments and
accidental touching with wheel.
c) The grinding wheel is used only for the special purpose. For example: Do not grind with the side of the
grinding wheel. The force applied to the wheel side may make it shatter.
d) Use the undamaged wheel with the right size & shape and the wheel flange. The suitable wheel flange
supporter of wheel can reduce the possibility
of wheel breakage. The cutting wheel flange can be different from the wheel flange.
e) Do not use the worn wheel leftover from the power tool of the large size, which is not applicable for the high
speed conditions of the power tool with the small size, and it is possible to be burst.
f) The grinding wheel should be used in good condition. It should not have broken sound when use a wooden
hammer to beat the grinding wheel slightly, the wheel retention period should not exceed one year, which
should be carried out for rotational strength test if more than a year. This product meets the national
standards of GB3883, GB4343, and GB17625.
