3. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
CLEANING
Switch off and unplug the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before
cleaning, assembling and disassembling.
WARNING: NEVER immerse the product in water.
To clean the fan, use a soft cloth to wipe off any dust. If the fan is very dirty use a damp
cloth and wipe dry or use a vacuum cleaner. Do not use any cleaning detergents, sprays
or other chemicals, as they will damage the fan.
STORING
Store the fan in the original packing in a ventilated dry area.
The motor bearings are permanently sealed and do not require additional lubrication.
Guarantee
This product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of
3 years from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes
to repair or replace any parts to be defective, providing the product is returned to one of
our authorised service centres. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used
in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired
or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse. This guar-
antee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as glass and ceramic
items, bulbs, etc. If the product does not work and it is the reason for returning it and it is
within the guarantee period, please also show the guarantee card and proof of purchase.
