Problem
Tool operating slowly
Tool seized
Tool will not stop after Trigger (3) is fully released

Possible Cause
Pressure incorrect
Dirt within the mechanism
Air blockage
Air leak
Blockage in gauze mesh filter
Dirt or rust in mechanism
Throttle valve O-ring or valve seat damaged
Air pocket
Plunger mechanism not released
Compressor pressure low
Grease level in chamber low
If the above troubleshooting solutions fail, contact your dealer or an authorised Silverline service centre.
Solution
Set the correct air pressure according to the 'Specifications'
Pour air tool oil into air inlet as per maintenance instructions
Operate tool in short bursts to clear blockage
Check all fittings and hose for air leaks and correct issue by
re-tightening, using PTFE tape or replacing
Remove Quick Connector (4) and clean mesh filter
Try 'Tool operating slowly' solutions
Tap tool gently with a soft mallet
Have the tool repaired at an authorised Silverline service centre
Follow 'Bleeding the grease chamber' instructions above
Press the Plunger Release (6)
Increase compressor air pressure within the range specified in
'Specifications'
Re-fill chamber
