PUMP CASING AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY
To avoid damages during the transport, due to the extremely long package, pump end and motor can be
supplied separately
Before the final installation of the group, assemble pump and motor as per general instructions given below
:
Check that pump shaft turns freely.
Check that contact surfaces of pump and motor flanges are clean to assure a perfect alignment.
Grease the motor shaft extension to make it slide easily.
Approach vertically pump flange to motor and match theirs slots to allow locate the motor cables.
Lower down the pump carefully , matching the splines or key of the shafts until both flanges join together.
Put the washers and nuts and cross tight them progressively.
Insert the cable in the cable-guards and fasten them to the pump bowl.
Submersible group is ready for installation.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS.
TAKE NOTE The electrical connections must be made by qualified personnel in strict compliance with all

TAKE NOTE All grounding conductors must be connected to the grounding circuit of the system before the
others conductors are connected.
The grounding conductors must be the last to be removed if the motor is disconnected.
The free ends of the cables must never be immersed or wetted in any way.
TAKE NOTE.- Make sure that the voltage and frequency values which the motor is powered correspond to
those on the data plates of the motor itself.
INSTALLATION INTO THE WELL
While using a chain pipe wrench to join the riser pipe and the pump, make sure that the pump has to be
gripped only by the discharge chamber.
The thread on the first section of the riser pipe that is to be screwed into the pump must be shorter than the
threads in the pump.
Once the above named preparing steps have been carried out, the installation shall take place as follows :
Every tube shall be hung from a fixing flange which is situated in the uppermost position, to be carefully
lowered down till the fixing flange in question rests on the pierced edge or on two transversal supports.
Then and by the use of another fixing flange the following tube shall be fastened and once the two tubes
have been joined together in this way, all the load is hung over. The lower fixing flange shall not be released
till it can be seen for certain that the load is fully hanging from the upper fixing flange.
