► Push bracket (2) inwards so that cover (1) can
be attached.
► Fold cover (1) downwards so that it engages.
► Place cover (5) on the handlebar.
► Screw in screws (6).

Topping Up the Gearbox Oil
The gearbox oil lubricates and cools the tiller
gearbox.
NOTICE
■ The tiller does not contain any gearbox oil on
delivery. Starting the engine with no or too lit‐
tle gearbox oil may damage the tiller.
► Check the gearbox oil level before starting
and if necessary top up.
► Stop the engine.
► Place the tiller on a level surface.

► Attach the front wheel.
► Set the blade spur to the highest level.
► Clean the area around the gearbox oil cap
with a damp cloth.
► Turn the gearbox oil cap anti-clockwise until it
can be removed.
► Remove the gearbox oil cap.
► Add 2.3 l of SAE10W30 gearbox oil without
spilling any.
► Place the gearbox oil cap on the filler neck.
► Turn the gearbox oil cap clockwise and tighten
firmly by hand.
The filler neck is sealed.

Topping Up the Engine Oil
The engine oil lubricates and cools the engine.
The engine oil specification and capacity can be
found in the engine instruction manual.
NOTICE
■ The tiller does not contain any engine oil on
delivery. Starting the engine with no or too lit‐
tle engine oil may damage the tiller.
► Always check the engine oil level before
starting and if necessary top up.
► Add the engine oil as described in the engine
instruction manual.

Filling the Oil Bath Air Filter
The oil bath air filter filters the air taken in by the
engine.
NOTICE
■ The oil bath air filter does not contain any
engine oil on delivery. Starting the engine with
no or too little engine oil in the oil bath air filter
may damage the tiller.
► Always check the engine oil level in the oil
bath air filter before starting and if neces‐
sary top up.
The engine oil specification and capacity can be
found in the engine instruction manual.
