TROUBLESHOOTING
It is essential to disconnect power by unplugging the power cord from the outlet before attempting
to fix any issues with your evaporative cooler. If you are experiencing a problem that is not listed
here, please visit our support page, or contact our Customer Care team for help. Your safety is
our top priority!
Symptom

Cooler will
Circuit breaker tripped

GFCI tripping
Remedies
Reset circuit breaker. If the issue persists, call a certified electrician.
Replace the power cord if necessary.
1. Plug in power cable, press "test" then "retest" and check for red light
on GFCI.
2. If there is no red light on GFCI, check power supply and replace GFCI
if necessary.
3. If GFCI has a red light and control is in Standby mode (Yellow LED
on power button):
a. Press the "+" fan speed button and check fan operation. If GFCI
trips, replace fan.
b. If the fan runs, press the Cooling Mode button, and select Max
Cooling. If GFCI trips, replace pump.
4. If the problem persists, replace GFCI.
