REMOVING THE ATTACHMENT FROM THE
POWER HEAD
„ Stop the motor and disconnect from the power supply.
WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you
careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second
is sufficient to inflict serious injury.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to
comply with ANSI Z87.1, along with hearing protection.
Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into
your eyes and other possible serious injuries.
WARNING:
Do not use any attachments or accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer of this product. The
use of attachments or accessories not recommended
can result in serious personal injury.
NOTICE:
Do not use with a 2 cycle or 4 cycle gas powerhead.
Use with a 2 cycle or 4 cycle gas powerhead may cause
engine failure.
NOTICE:
Before each use, inspect the entire product for damaged,
missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps,
etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not
operate this product until all missing or damaged parts
are replaced. Please contact customer service or a quali-
fied service center for assistance.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
„ Removing leaves and other debris from your gutters
ASSEMBLY
„ Loosen the knob.
„ Push in the button and twist the shafts to remove and
separate ends.
OPERATION
USING THE GUTTER BLOWER ATTACHMENT
See Figures 3-4.
To avoid serious personal injury and damage to your gut-
ters, do not hang the blower from your gutter. Be careful
not to pull down on your gutters with this blower.
To reduce the risk of fire or explosion, keep the battery
dry from wet debris that may be in your gutter.
NOTE: When operating the gutter blower, start on the right
side of the work area and move left along the length of the
gutter. Take caution to observe your surroundings and be
careful while maneuvering the tool from ground to gutter.
„ Raise the gutter blower assembly and rest the unit on top
of the gutter with the air outlet pointing down toward the
gutter opening as shown.
„ Hold the unit with your right hand on the rear handle and
your left hand on the front handle.
NOTE: Keep a firm grip with both hands while in opera-
tion. The blower should be held at a comfortable position
with the rear handle about hip height.
„ Stand with the blower assembly slightly to your left.
„ Start the unit and slowly move the blower housing toward
the left along the length of the gutter.
„ When finished, stop the unit and carefully lower the blower
assembly toward the ground.
OPERATING TIPS
NOTICE:
Always operate your product in compliance with all
ap plicable laws and ordinances.
„ Move the gutter blower housing toward the left along the
length of the guttter when operating the unit. The air will
be directed down into the gutter and out toward the left
side of the blower housing.
