This product generates an electromagnetic
field while it operates. This electromagnetic
field may affect the functionality of active or
passive medical implants (e.g. pacemakers),
which may result in serious injury or death.
Æ Consult your doctor and the manufacturer
of your implant before using this product.
Æ Remove the battery when you are not
using the product.
Æ After using the product, disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket.
Æ Do not open the housing (this should only be done
by GARDENA Service or qualified personnel).
Æ Remove the battery after use to avoid the risk of fire.
Æ Clean the product with a dry cloth to avoid fire
hazard.

Æ Use the protective cover (transport).
Æ Check the work area to reduce the risk of cutting
injuries.
Æ Commercial use is not permitted in order to ensure

Æ Wear garden gloves to reduce the risk of
cutting injury.
Æ Wait until the blade is at a standstill.
Æ Slide the protective cover over the blade.
Æ Remove the battery.
