Position of the tilt adjustment on right side of the welder's mask.
1. Loosen the tension on the right-hand knob.
2. Push upper end of adjustment lever outwards until the lever's stop tab clears the notches.
3. Turn the lever forwards or move it backwards to the desired tilt position.
4. Stop automatically re-engages when released and fixes the welder's mask in the selected position.
▶ Welder's mask ready for use.
5. Adjust darkness level during use by readjusting the potentiometer.

REPLACEMENT
6.1.1.
Outer protective screen

Replace outer protective screen of the welder's mask if damaged.
1. Remove bracket assembly.
2. Lift outer protective screen off the welder's mask and remove seal from the cover lens.
3. Insert new cover lens and place in welder's mask.
▶ Reassemble everything in the same way as it was disassembled.

Inner protective screen

Remove inner cover lens if damaged.
1. Place fingernail in recess under cartridge view window.
2. Bend lens upwards until it detaches from the edges of the cartridge view window.

1. Remove bracket assembly from welder's mask.
2. Bend upper end of bracket slightly to remove cartridge from frame.

Possible cause
The headband was adjusted un-
evenly.
Distance between your eyes and fil-
ter lens is unequal.
The lens of the front cover is dirty or
damaged.
Sensors dirty.
Welding current too low.
No power.
Action
Readjust headband to reduce distance
to filter.
Replace lens.
Clean sensor surfaces.
Set higher sensitivity level.
Check battery for function.
Make sure that polarity is correct.
