6.1
Maintenance intervals
6.1.1
Every two months
Replace the water in the water container (see chapter
6.2.1).
6.1.2
Half-yearly
Check whether the fill level indicator is legible, otherwise
replace (see chapter 6.3.4).
Check the secure fit of the screw connections and retighten
if necessary.
6.1.3
Yearly
Check the bypass for contamination and clean if
necessary.
Replace the soda lime and the two filter mats. Depending
on use, the soda lime and filter mat may already need to be
replaced after less than 12 months (see chapter 6.2.2).
Check the flat and profile gaskets for damage or porosity
and replace if necessary (see chapter 6.3).

8. Exclusively clean the lime container with a dry cloth.
9. If necessary, refill the lime container with soda lime
according to the "Use" chapter and prepare the DAP 5000
for use (see chapter 4.1).

Maintenance work
NOTICE
Depending on the maintenance work to be performed, the
water and/or soda lime container needs to be drained and
cleaned, if necessary. The precise steps are described in the
"Cleaning" chapter (see chapter 6.2).
NOTICE
After the maintenance work, the DAP 5000 must once again
be prepared for use. To do so, follow the instructions in the
"Use" chapter (see chapter 4.1).
6.3.1
Replacing the flat gaskets
1. Prepare the DAP 5000 (see chapter 6.2.1).
2. Loosen the screw connection at the inlet and outlet
connectors to remove the fittings.
3. Replace the old flat gaskets with new ones.
4. In this step, it is also advisable to replace the return valve's
valve disc, as this is more accessible due to the removal of
the fittings.
