CHANGING THE CARTRIDGE

Check that burners are extinguished before disconnecting the gas cartridge. Be careful the gas cartridge may be hot.
The cartridge may be removed even if it is not empty.
Once your equipment has fully cooled:

Check that the gas inlet is fully closed by turning the control knob (8) clockwise to "•" position and that the
burner (5) is extinguished.

Disconnect the cartridge by putting the cartridge lever (6) in the "UNLOCK" position.
Open the cartridge compartment cover (2) and remove the cartridge.
Butane cartridge must be changed in a safe place, e.g. in the open air or in a well-ventilated location, preferably

outside, away ffrom any source of ignition such as naked flames, pilots, electric fires and away from other people.
Check the seals before connecting a new gas cartridge to the appliance. (fig.6)
Put in a new cartridge by the following the instructions in paragraph "USING THE STOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME".

In case the pressure sensitive safety device triggers it means that a critical pressure level is reached in the car-
tridge so the appliance must not be used before it has completely cool down. Do not bypass the pressure sensitive
safety device.

STORAGE – MAINTENANCE
When the appliance has cooled completely it should be cleaned of any residues of food or fat after each use.

Use a soft cloth to clean greasy parts of the stove with soap and water.
Keep the electrode (9) and the burner gap free from debris for easy lighting.
Clean stove frequently to avoid grease build up and as necessary.

Burner flame should be blue with hint of yellow tip.
A good flame should be blue with minimal yellow tip. Some yellow tips on flames are
acceptable as long as no carbon or soot deposits appear.

Store the appliance and the cartridge in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area, out of
reach of children.
Do not modify the appliance.
WARNING
• This appliance can only be used with CRV butane cartridge.
• Do not use an appliance which is leaking, damaged or which does not operate properly.
• Always place the stove on a horizontal stable and heat resistant surface.
• Do not move the appliance during use.
• Never place two stoves close to each other.
• Place the cooker at least 120cm away from adjacent walls and 120cm away from ceiling.
• Place the stoce at least 40cm away from inflammable materials.
• Never use the stove without the grill support assembly (5).
• Never use aluminum oil to line burner splitover area.
• Do not use any pans that cover the cartridge compartment.
• Do not use a pan smaller than 12cm in diameter or a pan larger than L68 x W34cm. Do not use vessels with
concave or convex bottoms.
• If there is a leak on your appliance (smell of gas), take it outside immediately into a well ventilated flame free
location where the leak may be detected and stopped. If you wish to check for leaks on you appliance, do it
outside.
• Do not try to detect leaks using a flame, use soapy water.
CAUTION
: accessible parts may become very hot, Keep children away from the appliance.
