Step 3
Repeat Step 2 to obtain the shape of the base shown below. Now let's get started on the
second tier!
Please note: Every node at the bottom circle will have
four bar ends. Except for the bottom nodes, all of the
nodes will have either five or six bar-ends.
Step 4
Connect 4 yellow bars (B) to two yellow bars previously assembled on the first tier (see image
below) using a long bolt (E), a washer (H), and one bolt (K), and tighten with an Allen wrench (I)
and a flat wrench (J). The order of the bars needs to be the same as the order marked in the
following picture, the tip of bar 1 is beneath the tip of bar 2, that bar 2 is beneath bar 3, and
so on so that the tip of bar 6 is on the top. Make sure they are always in a counter-clockwise
position.
