The following use is also prohibited:
∙ Operation
- As room humidifier or even as heater.
- When the appliance is not fully assembled or with accessories other than those
listed herein.
- With empty water tank.
∙ Mopping without a clean cleaning cloth.
∙ Outdoor operation or storage.
Other safety instructions
∙ Add no more than 400 ml of cold, distilled water to the water tank. Tap water
causes the limescale to build up and gradually destroy the appliance. The warranty
will be null and void if the appliance malfunctions due to calcification.
∙ Do not descale the appliance.
∙ Do not add any cleaning agents to the water tank. Otherwise, the safe operation of
the appliance can no longer be guaranteed.
∙ Empty the water tank after each use.
∙ Always remove wet cleaning cloth when appliance is standing or stored. Otherwise
the surface may be damaged. Residual moisture in the cleaning cloth can cause
odours or even mould growth.
∙ Always switch off and unplug the appliance when left unattended.

Automatic steam shut-off
The appliance switches to standby mode (LED lights up yellow) after 30 minutes of use to protect the water pump and
generates no steam. To resume the operation of the appliance, press the
appliance is ready for operation again.
