Before the first use
∙ Unpack the appliance completely and discard any packaging material and stickers. Never remove the
nameplate!
∙ Assemble the steam mop:
- Attach the handle to the tube.
- Push the tube onto the adapter.
- Insert the adapter with the tube into the lower part of the steam mop.
- Ensure that the parts are firmly in place.
∙ Leave the appliance to operate for a few minutes with the water tank filled (see "Filling the water tank") to
remove any production residues.
Filling water tank
Ensure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.

Fit the water tank onto the handpiece. The water tank seal must be seated on the handpiece pin. Push the water tank
down gently until it clicks into place.
NOTE: Check the water level in the water tank regularly and refill it promptly. Never use the appliance when the water tank
is empty!
Steam button LED
∙ The steam button LED indicates the operating status of the appliance:
Flashing red:
the appliance is warming up
Red:
the appliance outputs a maximum amount of steam
Green:
the appliance outputs a minimum amount of steam
Yellow:
no steam output, the appliance remains heated
Use the steam button to adjust the steam quantity or stop the steam output if you need to make a short break.
Mopping
1.
Make sure that surface is suitable for hot steam claning.
If in doubt, contact manufacturer of surface to be cleaned.
TIP: Before steam mopping, always remove dust or crumbs from the floor by sweeping or vacuuming.

Fit the handpiece with the steam nozzle facing downwards into the holder on the steam mop until it clicks into place.
Ensure that the handpiece is firmly in place.

Soak a clean cleaning cloth in water and place it underneath. Lay the steam mop on top of the cloth.
4.
Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
5.
Switch on the appliance (I). The LED will flash red. The appliance is now warming up.
6.
When the LED turns to a steady red, the appliance outputs steam.
7.
Position the power cord so that it does not interfere with operation.
8.
Mop the floor by moving the appliance back and forth. Do not leave the steam mop in one spot for too long.
Freshening up carpets
1.
Vacuum the carpet thoroughly.
2.
Prepare the appliance as described under "Mopping".
3.
Fit the steam mop with a cleaning cloth facedown into the carpet glider.
4.
Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
5.
Switch on the appliance (I). The LED will flash red. The appliance is now warming up.
6.
When the LED turns to a steady red, the appliance outputs steam.
7.
Position the power cord so that it does not interfere with operation.
8.
Freshen up the carpet with the appliance.

Steam attachments can be used for various applications. Some application examples are given below:
Steam nozzle:
for tile joints, bathroom fittings and the like

for hobs and other smooth surfaces
Steam brush:
for grills, baking trays and the like
