V. Before the �rst-time use
1. Check the local water hardness by using the test strip and matching the color with the color chart.

How to use:
Dip the test strip into the water to be tested for 1 second, and shake
off excess water from the test pad.
Wait for 15 seconds, and read the water hardness by color
comparison of the test pad on your sensor strip with the water
hardness color chart.
