Assembly Instructions
WARNING ALWAYS UNPLUG THE MACHINE BEFORE ASSEMBLY/INSTALLING ACCESSORIES .
Handle Tube
Tools Needed:
•
(2) 7/16" Wrenches
1 .
Before assembling the handle tube, ensure the handle
clamp is positioned with the hole of the tube facing the
motor . (Fig . 1)
2 .
Slide the handle tube through the handle clamp . (Fig . 1)
3 .
Hold the yoke vertical and insert the tube over the yoke .
(Fig . 1)
4 .
Turn the handle tube so the insert "Lavex" faces the
motor . Align the holes on the tube and the yoke, and
place the two screws in the holes with the heads toward
the motor . (Fig . 2)
5 .
Move the handle release lever down on the lock position
and turn the pressure-adjusting knob as far as it goes .
(Fig . 3)
6 .
Place the handle release lever up on the release position
and tighten the pressure adjusting knob 1/4 turn more .
7 .
Place the handle lever down again and try tilting the
machine over the rear wheels by pulling down the handle .
If the handle clamp slips over the tube, move the handle
lever up to the release position and turn the adjusting
knob 1/4 turn more .
8 .
Repeat step 7 until the handle clamp does not slip when
trying to tilt the machine .
9 .
Connect the motor cables, making sure the insulating
jacket is over the conductors .
10 . The power cord support hook can be moved up or down
by loosening and tightening the Allen screws .
