Guide the file by grasping one hand handle and other hand end
of file and nail file you move forward along the tooth. Always file
at a 90 ° angle to the guide bar. The file only engages when mov‑
ing forward ‑ when moving backwards, lift it. Turn the file slightly
at regular intervals, to prevent its one‑sided wear.
Use a dipstick to check the height of the limit stop:

4.
Work the stop so that it is flush with the dipstick. After reduction
the limit stops, always adjust the front of each limit stop to its
original shape (rounded or stepped), while no longer lowering the
highest point of the limiting stop.
» Make sure the chain is properly set. A chain that is too tight
may slip out during cutting and cause injuries. Immediately
replace damaged chains. The minimum cutting tooth length
is 4 mm.
» Always clean the saw of sawdust and oil after use. Pay particu‑
lar attention to the air holes in the casing [16]; clogging could
result in overheating of the engine.
» If the chain is very dirty or clogged with resin, it must be re‑
moved and cleaned. Place the chain in a vessel with saw chain
cleaner for several hours. Then, rinse it with water and, if the
chain is not going to be used immediately afterwards, treat it
with service spray or standard anti‑corrosion spray.
» Always empty the oil tank if the saw is going to be in storage
for an extended period of time.
» Do not store the saw outdoors or in humid environments.
90 °
ü
» Check the engine box and lead‑in cable for damage before
use. If you find any damage, bring the chainsaw for repair to
a professional workshop or service centre.
» Check the oil level before every use of the saw. Insufficient oil
leads to chain, bar and engine damage.
Warning regarding optimal handling of the accumulator.
Protect the accumulator from humidity and water. Only store the
accumulator at temperatures between ‑20 °C and +50 °C. For in‑
stance, you should not store the accumulator in a vehicle during
the summer. Occasionally clean the accumulator vents with a soft,
clean, dry brush. A significantly reduced runtime after recharging
indicates that the accumulator is worn down and needs replacing.
ATTENTION!
With respect to protection from el.
shock and preservation of the class of protection, all
maintenance and service operations requesting jig saw
case removal must be performed by the authorized service
centre only!
The current list of authorized service centres can be found at our
website www.narex.cz.
16 Technical problems
» The motor does not start: Check that both accumulators
[B1] are properly fitted and clamped. Check the state of
charge of the accumulators. Check that the saw is activated
by pressing the main switch [12a]. Check the position of the
hand guard [4]. If none of the above fixes the issue, take the
chainsaw to an authorised service centre or a professional
workshop for repair.
» Oil is not distributed: Check oil level. Clean holes in the bar
for smooth oil flow (see also corresponding instruction in the
part "Maintenance and cleaning"). If remedy is not reached,
handover the chainsaw to the specialized workshop or to the
manufacturer's service centre.

other than those contained in this Operating Manual
may be performed by authorized staff or by the manufac-
