6. CLEANING AND CARE

WARNING: Before cleaning, unplug the device from the power outlet and allow it to cool
down completely.
WARNING: Never immerse the power cord, plug or device in water or any liquid to avoid
the risk of fire or electrocution. Do not rinse these electrical parts under the tap. Do not
use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
CLEANING
1. Wipe the hair straightener with a soft cloth lightly moistened with water. Make sure that no
moisture enters the device during the cleaning process.
2. Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, metal or abrasive pads, or sharp tools to
clean the device.
3. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
4. Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or
scouring pads to clean the device.
STORAGE
1. Always unplug the device when it is not in use.
2. Allow the device to cool down completely before storing.
3. Never wrap the power cord around the device. This will cause the cord to wear prematurely
and break. Coil the cord loosely next to the device.
4. Always handle the cord with care, and avoid jerking, twisting or straining it, especially at plug
connections.
5. Store the device in a safe, clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of
children.
