INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETUP:
1. Using sterile technique, peel open the pack and remove all items.
2. Attach suction line connector (F) to handgun (C). Push on until connection is secure.
3. Retract locking ring (A) by pressing up.
4. Attach debridement tip (B) to handgun (C). Push on until connection is secure.
5. Lock debridement tip in place by depressing locking ring (A). Retract locking ring for tip removal.
6. Attach the battery pack (J) to a convenient location.
7. Attach irrigation line (D) to irrigation source (E).
8. Attach suction line connector (G) to suction canister source (H).
9. Depress the top of the toggle trigger (I) for high speed fluid delivery; Depress the bottom of
the toggle trigger for low speed fluid delivery; Center the toggle trigger for no fluid delivery.
10. To limit suction, the Pulsavac Plus System has a clamp (K) on the suction line adjacent to the
handgun.
11. To spike more than one irrigation source, use a Zimmer
(REF 00-5150-042-00) only.
12. Use universal precautions in accordance with hospital protocol for the handling and disposal
of contaminated waste.
