04. CAMERA INSTALLATION
SEE FIG. B
1. Choose where to mount the camera. It is best to position the camera so that
the display preview shows as much of the area in front of the car as possible.
Make sure that the camera does not obstruct the driver's view while driving.
2. Mount the bracket on the windscreen and then install the camera in it.
3. Route the USB cable as shown in Figure B.
4. Connect the mini USB plug to the holder.
5. Place a second camera at the rear of the vehicle.
6. Route the AV cable to the recorder in such a way that it does not disturb the
driver while driving.
7. Connect the AV plug to the AV in port on the car camera.
8. Plug the charger into a 12/24V cigarette lighter socket.
REAR CAMERA INSTALLATION:
The mounting location of the additional camera included in the kit depends on your
preference. The camera complies with IP67 waterproof standards (weatherproof).
CONNECTION OF A REAR-VIEW CAMERA:
Connect the black cable supplied to the AV port on the main unit, drag it to where
the secondary camera is mounted and plug it in. Make sure the main unit can see
the secondary camera (if not, check that the cable is correctly inserted in both
ports).
INSTALLATION OF A REAR-VIEW CAMERA:
The wires coming out of the rear camera should be connected to the power wires
of the reversing lights (red = plus). Connecting in this way will result in a reversing
camera.
The pipework leading to the outside should be well insulated and should not be
mechanically stressed.
