Filling with water
Procedure
1. If necessary, remove the fresh water
tank (6) from the appliance.
2. Fold up the fresh water tank lid (5).
3. Fill with water up to the desired filling
volume.
To do this, use the markings on the
back of the fresh water tank.
4. Close the fresh water tank lid.
5. Put the fresh water tank back into the
appliance.

2. Pull the device plug out of the wall out-
let if you are leaving the device unat-
tended or if you have finished working.
Carpet cleaning
Notes
• Add some cleaning agent (6) to the
fresh water tank (14) in case of excess-
ive dirt or stains.

2. Pull (do not push!) The nozzle (12, 13)
in rows over the carpet/upholstery.
Overlap the rows a bit to ensure thor-
ough cleaning.
3. Press the lever (10) to activate the
spray function.
4. Empty the dirty water tank (1) imme-
diately after operation, as it is not de-
signed to store liquids (Emptying the
dirty water tank, p. 21).
Emptying the dirty water
tank
Procedure
1. If necessary, switch off the appliance.
2. Remove the dirty water tank (1) from
the appliance.
3. Release the lock (2).
4. Open the dirty water tank lid.
5. Empty out the dirty water.
6. Close the dirty water tank lid again.
7. Lock the lock.
8. Put the dirty water tank back into the
appliance.

jury due to unintentional start-up. Protect
yourself when performing maintenance or
cleaning work. Switch off the device and
disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
You should have any repair and mainten-
ance work that is not described in these
instructions carried out by our Service
Centre. Only use original replacement
parts.
Cleaning
NOTICE! Risk of damage! Improper
cleaning can damage the device. Never
spray down the device with water. Do not
clean the device under running water. Do
not use any abrasive cleaning agents or
solvents.
1. Rinse the suction hose (9) with clear
water.
2. Empty both water tanks (1, 6) after op-
eration.
