User instructions Knot Filler Saver tool
When working with Knot Filler, you may need to change color. One option is to complete the
current stick and insert a new color. It will cause a bit of waste.
To avoid this, you can use the Knot Filler Saver tool (standard in Plus+ Kit). It is a silicone mold that
makes it possible to make new sticks from the Knot Filler that would otherwise end up as waste
material. After a short hardening process, the new sticks can be pressed out of the mold and used
on a later occasion.
1. Place the Knot Filler Saver tool on a metal surface or put a piece of masking tape over
the holes in the bottom.
2. Fill the Knot Filler Saver with liquid Knot Filler through one of the outer holes on the
side of the mold. Do not use the middle hole as it functions as ventilation.
3. Leave the sticks to harden for about 15-30 minutes. If necessary, place the mold in the
refrigerator to speed up the hardening process.
4. Slide the new sticks out of the mold and place them in an airtight bag.
Note! Newly made sticks look different and have an uneven surface. However, this has
no effect on the functionality.
