How to make Knot Filler repairs

Take the desired color from the
bag and seal the bag tightly. It
is important that the sticks are
packed airtight.

Place the cooling brick or a piece
of metal on top of the hot Knot
Filler to cool down quickly and to
distribute the filler in the repair.
Important user information
A heated Knot Filler Gun should never be pointed upwards or placed on its side. This

causes the hot filler to run back inside the gun which will then be destroyed.
Never pull a stick back from the gun! This will destroy the feeding mechanism.
Complete the current stick and change to a new one. Alternatively, you can use a Knot
•
Filler Saver tool (standard in the Plus+ Kit).
•
Tighten the nozzle regularly by hand - do not use tools.
•
Seal the Knot Filler bag thoroughly after use so that the sticks will not be exposed to air.

Place the stick in the preheated
gun. If necessary, give it a
gentle push so that the gripping
mechanism grips.

Remove excess Knot Filler with
the cutting tool or a sharp chisel.
Caution! Always cut in the
direction away from yourself.

Carefully push in the handle and
fill the repair spot with Knot Filler.
It is important that the gun is
adequately preheated!

Remove the remnants of Knot
Filler with sandpaper. Hereby the
repair is prepared for finishing
with oil, varnish, paint etc.
