NOTE: Battery is not supplied by Maxon.
Use only sealed type 12V automo-
tive batteries.
8. Install auxiliary battery in battery box
using tie down angle, threaded rods, and
1/4" hex nuts (Kit items)(FIG. 24-1).
9. Connect jumper to battery terminal on
circuit breaker using the 1/4" jumper
hole and attached nut and lock washer
(Kit items) (FIG. 24-2). Tighten circuit
breaker nut to 50 in.-lb. Place circuit
breaker and 5/16" jumper hole over
positive (+) battery terminal (FIG. 24-2).
