Battery and charger
How to charge
Your e-scooter is powered by a lithium-ion battery. These instructions will help you
to get the most out of your battery.
•
Fully charge the battery before riding the e-scooter for the first time.
•
While charging, all normal e-scooter functions are disabled. When you press the
mutlifunction button, a charging battery indicator will show.
•
Always charge the battery in a dry and clean environment, out of direct sunlight.
•
When the light on the charger changes from red to green, the charge cycle has
completed.
Safety notices
•
WARNING - Risk of fire - no user servicable parts. If you notice any damage on
the charger or cables, do not use it and contact Pure Electric.
•
Only use the original charger provided with this e-scooter (model no. FY-
42020000) or a replacement Pure Electric fast charger (model no. FY1384203000)
to charge your scooter.
•
Only charge the e-scooter in temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.
•
Always charge the e-scooter in a safe and well ventilated area (e.g. away from
flammable materials, children and pets, and out of direct sunlight). Unplug the
charger when charging is finished.
•
The maximum charging voltage is 42V DC, 3A
•
Do not leave the e-scooter unattended while charging.
•
If you are not going to use your e-scooter for a long period, we recommend giving
the e-scooter a full charge at least once every month.
•
E-Scooter not intended for use at elevations higher than 2000m above sea level.
•
This e-scooter contains batteries that are only replaceable by skilled persons.
