Approval and conformity
This product conforms to the requirements
of the relevant EU guidelines.

Special accessory
The following settings can be made and changed
with the infrared remote control (Prod. no. 36 206).
• Set detection zone
• Set flush duration
(flow volume 1 - 7 l)
• Trigger flushing
• Switch off fitting
• Restore basic setting
• Test mode = waterless simulation
• Switch on/off 24-hour flush
• Switch on/off intermediate flush
Operation
The infrared-electronic system emits invisible,
pulsed light. If this light is reflected by a user for
a minimum of 10 seconds (minimum delay time)
and is then received again by the electronic
system, the bowl is flushed approx. 1 second
after the user moves away.
The detection range is dependent upon the
reflective properties of the object.
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly.
Refer to the dimensional drawings on fold-out
page I and Fig. [1] on fold-out page II.
Install fitting 37 640
1. Close isolating valve (A), see Fig. [2].
2. Remove existing fitting and piston with spring.
3. Insert piston (B) with spring (C), see Fig. [3].
4. Locate new fitting, note position of seal (D).
5. Remove screw (E) and remove cap (F).
6. Attach fitting with internal screws (G).
Install fitting 37 414 / 37 713
1. Install fitting and fasten, see Fig. [4].
2. Cut flushing pipe, see Fig. [5].
3. Connect flushing pipe (H) with outlet nut (J),
see Fig. [6].
4. Remove screw (E) and cap (F), see Fig. [7].
Open hot and cold water supply and check
connections for water-tightness!
Preferences
- Insert battery (K), see Fig. [8].
- Open isolating valve (A), see Fig. [9].
Setting mode
The flow volume can be checked and changed in
setting mode (see section Setting the flow
volume).
The detection zone of the fitting can be checked.
The indicator lamp in the sensor system of the
fitting illuminates in setting mode when the
detection zone of the fitting is reached by an
approaching user.
It is possible to set the detection zone via the
optional remote control.
Flushing is immediately triggered when the
detection zone is exited again. The minimum
delay time of 10 seconds is not available in setting
mode.
