Fixing hooks
There are small cuts on the shredder base, which are used to fix a bag
to the equipment [Fig. 16].
During any maintenance, turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug cable.
Oil change
Check that the engine switch is in the "OFF" position. Drain the oil while the
engine is still a little warm to ensure quick and complete draining.
1. Remove the drain screw (01), [Fig. 17] and let the oil drain, collecting it in a
suitable tray.
2. Replace the drain screw (1) and close tightly [Fig. 17].
3. Fill with approximately 600 ml of 10W30 Synthetic oil and check the oil level.
To check the oil level in the engines, you need to screw the cover on all the way.
The oil level must be at the upper mark on the gauge for correct engine working
condition [Fig. 18].
Used lubricating oil can cause skin cancer due to prolonged contact with the skin.
This is unlikely to happen unless you handle used lubricating oil on a daily basis.
In any case, it is recommended to wash your hands carefully with soap and water
immediately after working with used oil.
The amount of new oil needed may vary. For best results, check the measuring stick. With the
equipment parked on a flat surface, add oil until it reaches the maximum point on the dipstick.
Attention: Used oil can contaminate the environment, so it must be disposed of properly. Do not
dispose of with household waste, down drains or in the environment. Check for recycling/disposal
facilities with your local authorities, service station or retailer.
