Assembly

Turn the unit upside down and place on a firm surface with a soft covering, such
as a floor with carpet on it, to prevent scratching the unit. Take one of the feet and
thread a screw through the wide end of the foot so that the screw protrudes through
the narrow end of the foot.

Place the protruding end of the screw into the screw hole. Turn the foot clockwise
until it is firmly secured into place. Repeat this step to install the other 3 feet. Turn
the unit back over.
Before first use

Assemble the unit and turn the temperature control knob to the highest setting for about
7 minutes (
Use). This can burn off the "new" odour. Please keep the room ventilated
during this process.

Then, turn off and disconnect the unit from the mains outlet and allow it to cool before
wiping it clean with a damp, soft cloth (

Before connecting the power cord to the mains outlet, make sure the
temperature control knob is in the OFF position.
•
Always make sure the drip tray is inserted before using the unit.
Use the unit only indoors, in a dry and well-ventilated area.
Place the unit on a flat, stable, level, dry and heat-resistant surface at least 15 cm away
from any other objects. We recommend placing a heat-resistant mat between the unit
and the countertop to protect the surface from heat.
Slide the drip tray into the drip tray housing. Make sure it is fully inserted and sits below
the drain hole on the grill plate.
Wipe a small amount of cooking oil around the grill plate.
Insert the plug into a suitable mains socket.
