Example: To manually light station 3 for five minutes, press
the (MANUAL) button then press the ( ) buttons until
you see station 3; using the (+/–) buttons, set duration to five
minutes; press (ENTER) .
Note: After the (MANUAL) button has been pushed, if a selection
is not made within 5 seconds all stations will turn on. If the
stations have not been set, the controller will not initiate manual
lighting and the screen will return to the current time.
Manual "Test" Cycle
The Landscape LED Light Controller is capable of running a
"Manual Test Cycle" which will run all stations for as little
time as 1 minute or as much time as 120 minutes . This feature
is very useful upon completion of system installation or
service . To access this function, follow these instructions .
• Turn the Dial to (AUTO) .
AUTO
• Press the (TEST ALL) button .
• The LCD screen will indicate "TEST" and a default time
of 2 minutes will appear .
• Use the (+/-) buttons to change the test duration (from 1
to 120 minutes) .
• Upon arrival at desired test cycle time, press (ENTER) .
To abort test, press (CLEAR) . When the test cycle is complete
the Landscape LED Light Controller will automatically return to
your pre-set station durations and lighting will begin upon next
scheduled time .
Connecting a Light Sensor
• When using the light sensor, be sure the light controller
is mounted where the light sensor can be exposed to
sunlight .

Adjustment Dial
• Peel apart, only slightly, the two wires connected to
the light sensor (included with your landscape lighting
controller) .
• Strip 1/2 inches (12mm) of the plastic insulation off the
end of each wire .
• Loosen screws in the Light Sensor terminals, insert
wires (it doesn't matter which wire goes in which
terminal), and tighten screws .
• If you desire the light sensor to turn the lights on early
in the evening, turn the light sensor adjustment dial
clockwise toward the sun . If you desire the light sensor
to turn the lights on later in the evening, turn the light
sensor adjustment dial counter-clockwise toward the
moon . (See figure 7 .)

Connecting a Motion Sensor (Motion sensor sold separately)
• Peel apart, only enough for installation, the three wires
• Strip 1/2 inch (12mm) of the plastic insulation off the
• Loosen the necessary terminal screws .
• Insert red wire into the power terminal .
• Insert black wire into the common terminal .
• Insert white wire into the appropriate station terminal .
Note: If installing more than one motion sensor, insert all the
power (red) and common (black) wires into the same terminal.
For motion sensor to operate, start times, stop times, and
sensor times must be entered.
• Secure the wires by tightening the screws .
