OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
SPEEDBOX DUO SERIES ELECTRONIC VARIATOR
The base unit is supplied with power supply wiring, motor wiring and pressure transmitter
wiring. The power supply cable can only be replaced by the manufacturer or his accredited
representative (Y). The following is a description of how this wiring should be done in order
to solve any eventuality:
•
Use cable type H07RN-F with a cross-section suitable for the installed power.:
•
General power supply: 4mm
•
Motor connection: 1mm
If it is necessary to increase the cable length, an external splice shall be made according to
the guidelines of the low voltage regulations applicable to the country of installation and the
required cable cross-section shall be dimensioned according to the same criteria.
•
Check that the line voltage is 230 V. Remove the cover of the electronic circuit and make
the connections according to the instructions on the bottom of the terminal blocks..
•
Connect the general power supply (making sure that there is an effective earth connec-
tion) to L N magneto-thermal circuit breaker suitable for the installed power and in OFF
position.
•
The earth conductor must be longer than the phase conductors and must be the first
to be connected during assembly and the last to be disconnected during disassembly.
•
Connecting pumps (fig. 3).
•
Normally, the device is delivered with the pressure transmitter already connected and
with a cable length of 1.5 m. If not, connect the pressure transmitter (fig. 3). Use cable
H03VV 2x0.5 mm. If it is necessary to increase the cable length, an external splice must
be made in accordance with the guidelines of the low voltage regulations applicable in
the country of installation - the cable length must not exceed 15 m.
•
Connecting the minimum level control (optional): the device has an input that deactiva-
tes the pump as soon as it receives a signal from an external minimum level detector.
For connection see fig. 3.
WARNING! Incorrect connections can cause irreparable damage to the electronic circuit.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage to the device caused by incorrect connections.
8. CONFIGURATION
Correct values using
that make up the configuration sequence follow one after the other automatically. Press
MENU to exit this sequence at any time, saving the values modified up to that moment.
