PRADE & BLADE GUARD
INSTALLATION
|
The blade guard (2) must be installed before the diamond cutting blade (3) :
can be attached. (See Diagram)
2.
Use the blade guard adjustment knob (1) to fasten the blade guard firmly |
against the motor assembly.
|
3.
Carefully raise the cutting head to its highest position and tighten the .
adjustment knob on the rear support post so the cutting head is held firmly -
in place.
4. Raise the blade Suar to the highest level and tighten the blade guard |
adjustment knob. Then, remove the blade shaft nut and outer flange.

6. Replace the outer flange and blade shaft nut. With one hand, hold the blade and tighten the blade shaft nut with your
free hand. Make certain the nut is firmly tightened with wrench provided. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!
Release the blade shaft lock after the blade shaft nut is fully tightened.

IT MAY CATCH OR GRAB THE MATERIAL BEING CUT, CAUSING DAMAGE AND POSSIBLE INJURY.
CUTTING TABLE & OPTIONAL CUTTING TABLE EXTENSION
CUTTING TABLE IS MARKED IN INCHES AND CENTIMETERS FOR
ACCURATE CUT DIMENSIONS.

CUTTING TABLE
EXTENSION
STEPS FOR POSITIONING 45° RIP GUIDE:
1. Set the rip guide by positioning it on the desired dimension and tighten the threaded
knob on the rip guide. Make sure rip guide is firmly tightened to avoid slippage.
2. The cutting table is notched at the front center position, and 45° table lines are cut
into the table to facilitate quick 45° rip cuts.
3.
Set the corner of the tile into the notch, and line up the tile edges with the 45° table
lines to make your cut.
CUTTING TABLE
4.
For greater stability when cutting larger tiles, use the optional cutting-table extension.
This extension snaps easily onto the leading edge of the cutting table.
|
5. Always move the rear support post back to the 14" position before attempting to use the extension or to cut tiles 14"
or larger (see CUTTING HEAD POSITIONING on next page).
NOTE: IF THE CUT IS SLIGHTLY OFF CENTER, ADJUST THE (4) SAW-FRAME SCREWS. (See WATER TRAY
INSTALLATION on the next page)
