You can set the code length for the user codes with menu 7. The 0 (default)
setting allows you to have a variable code length, e.g. every user code can
be individ-ually set between 1 and 8 characters in length. When a fixed code
length is set, this applies to all user codes.

The system allows a maximum of 999 user codes to be programmed. A user
code is a PIN code that enables the door to be opened. The user code may
comprise 1 up to 8 digits. With menu 7, you can define the length of the
code for all user codes.

If a fixed code length is chosen, only this number
of digits is also taken into account when the code is
subsequently entered to open the door.
You can enter many more numbers than needed and
confirm with A in order to make spying the correct
code more difficult.

Use long user codes.
Use as many different numbers as possible.
