Safety information
This unit can be used by children from the age of 8 and by persons
with physical, sensory or mental impairments or lack of experience
and knowledge, as long as they are supervised or instructed on how
to use the unit safely and are able to understand the potential haz-
ards. Do not allow children to play with the unit. Do not allow children
to clean or maintain the unit without close supervision.
Safe operation
Only use original spare parts and accessories for the unit.
In the case of electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the wa-
ter: Isolate the units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into the wa-
ter.
Protect the unit from knocks or vibration.
Clean the unit at least twice a year.
Installation and connection
Do not submerge the unit!
Possible consequence: The unit will be destroyed.
Protective measures: Protect the air intake socket from the ingress of water.
How to proceed:
B, C
1. Connect the air hose to the aeration stone.
2. Fit the air hose to the float unit.
3. Select operating mode A, B or O.
Operating mode
Function
A
Day operation. The aerator pump only operates when there is sufficient sunlight. Any surplus power is stored in the rech-
argeable battery.
O
Charging operation. The aerator pump is switched off, the rechargeable battery is charged.
B
Night operation. The aerator pump switches on automatically when it is sufficiently dark and is powered by the rechar-
geable battery. When there is sufficient sunlight the pump is switched off and the rechargeable battery is charged.
4. Place the float unit onto the water.
Remedy of faults
Malfunction
The unit does not deliver any air or the amount
delivered is insufficient.
Cause
The aeration stone is soiled.
Air hose kinked or porous
Air hose not correctly fitted
Insufficient sunlight
No suitable operating mode selected
Remedy
Clean
Lay the air hose without kinks or replace.
Check the air hose.
