Attention
Follow the vehicle manufacturer's information on
engine-specific data and safety instructions.
Thoroughly clean the area around the pump injector
unit to be removed. Mark the position of the injector
assembly to ensure that it is mounted in the same
position.

Attach the claw (2) to the pump injector unit.
Tighten the screw on the claw slightly.

Place the clamping bracket (3) on the claw (2).
Tighten the side screws evenly to prevent the claw
from slipping off the pump injector unit.
Attention: Never tighten the screws too tightly.

Screw the slide hammer (1) into the top of the bolt
and tighten the lock nut.
First move the slide hammer weight downwards and
then quickly strike it with force against the upper bolt
stop. The pump-nozzle unit is pulled out of its seat a
little more with each stroke, depending on how firmly
the pump-nozzle unit is seated.
