5. Installation
5.1. IMPORTANT – Read before installing
Check your WiFi signal strength and make sure that the WiFi signal is strong at the

location of your camera. The suggested Internet bandwidth is 1Mbps (upload/
download speed) per camera.
For best performance, the smartphone needs to be connected to a Wi-Fi network to
•
receive maximum video stream speed.
Avoid aiming the lens at a strong light sources directly (such as sun, laser etc)
•
If you desire to install a MicroSD card we recommend doing it before the installation
•
process. Please refer to chapter 5.3 MicroSD installation for more information.
Place the camera on the desired installation point and check the live video stream on
•
the app to ensure that everything to monitor is well in view.
Check if there is a power socket is in sufficient proximity, the VIO-HS20 has a USB
•
cable of 2m
5.2. Wall or ceiling installation

Step 1:
Take out the mounting map
sticker from the accessories bag and stick
it on the wall or ceiling.
Step 2:
Use the mounting map
sticker as a template to mark the two
drilling points.
Step 3:
Drill through the marked
points and install the plastic anchors on
the two holes.
5.3. Micro SD Card installation
Locate the Micro SD-Card compartment at the bottom of the HS20. (refer to
Step 1:
chapter 2 point
Step 2:
Install the Micro SD-Card into the indicated MicroSD-card slot.
NOTE:
The Micro SD-Card is mandatory for local recording. Please make sure the Micro SD-
Card is CLASS10 rated. Supported are Micro SD-Cards from 8GB to 64GB.
