Press and hold the ON/OFF button to start pulsing ingredients and release it to stop pulsing.
After the first pulse, you can press the ON/OFF button to pulse again as long as it is within 5
seconds from the previous pulse. The maximum time for pulsing is 30 seconds.
9.
If no function is in use for 5 seconds, the smoothie maker automatically turns off.
IMPORTANT: To avoid overheating the appliance, allow the smoothie maker to rest for at least 20
minutes after 3 consecutive blending cycles.
10.
When you have finished blending, if connected, remove the USB-C charging cable from the
base and unplug the adapter plug from the power socket. You can either unscrew the lid and
pour the ingredients into a glass or you can turn the whole appliance upside down so the base
is at the top. Unscrew the base from the cup and then screw the cup base cover onto the cup.
Your smoothie is now ready to travel anywhere with you.
5.2. DISLODGING FOOD
If food becomes lodged around the blades and the blending suddenly slows down or stops and the
indicator light flashes red 10 times:
1.
Turn off and disconnect the USB-C charging cable (if connected) from the appliance and the
power outlet.
2.
Remove the cup from the base.
3.
Use a soft spatula to dislodge the food around the blades. Never use your fingers. You can
also remove some solid ingredients and add more liquid help the blades move freely.
5.3. TIPS
The smoothie maker can be used to make juices and smoothies.
Wash, peel and core fruits and vegetables (as necessary) and cut them into 1 x 1 cm pieces.
Pulse the ingredients when crushing ice-cubes in a smoothie. Only crush ice when there are
liquids in the smoothie maker.
To prevent damaging the appliance, do not:
– blend hard foods, such as nuts or dried legumes, without any liquid in the smoothie maker.
We recommend soaking nuts or legumes before blending;
– place the cup in a microwave or freezer;
– blend hot foods.
6.
CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING:
Before cleaning, turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power outlet. Allow it to cool
down.
To avoid electrical hazards, never immerse the base or the USB-C charging cable and adapter
plug in water or any other liquid. Never rinse them under the tap.
CAUTION: The blades are sharp! Keep hands away from the exposed blades! Take care
when handling the base especially when the cup is not attached and the blades are exposed.
The blades can cause severe injury if touched.
The cup, lid and base cover are dishwasher safe but they must NOT be placed on a heated,
dry dishwasher cycle. The base is NOT dishwasher safe.
IMPORTANT: Do not use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp
objects or scouring pads to clean the appliance or its accessories.
Clean the appliance after each use.
Rinse the jar and lid immediately after blending to prevent food from hardening and to make
cleaning easier.
