The VersaPort is a portable water supply and waste recovery system designed for use with the
VT1200 Hard Surface Cleaning Machine and the VC700 Carpet Cleaning Machine.

Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from out-
let when not in use and before servicing.
Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is neces-
sary when used by or near children.
Do not pull or carry by cord, use a cord as a handle, close
a door on a cord, or pull a cord around sharp edges or
corners. Do not run appliance over cords. Keep cords
away from heated surfaces.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the
plug, not the cord.
Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any
opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything
that may reduce air flow.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids,
such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be pre-
sent.
Connect to properly grounded outlets only. See Grounding
Instructions.
To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock due to internal
component damage, use only VersaClean cleaning fluids
intended for use with this appliance.
Use indoors only.
Store indoors only, and protect from freezing.
Do not expose to rain or snow.
Secure each power cord into IEC receptacles on han-
dle before use. Do not operate without cords locked
into place.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction
or break down, grounding provides a path of least re-
sistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric
shock. This appliance is equipped with cords having
equipment-grounding conductors and grounding plugs.
The plugs must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that
is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all
local codes and ordinances.
WARNING! Improper connection of the equipment-
grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric
shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service
person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlets
are properly grounded. Do not modify the plugs pro-
vided with the appliance – if the plug it will not fit the
outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified
electrician.
This equipment is for use on a circuit having a nominal
rating more than 115V and is factory-equipped with a spe-
cific electric cord and plug to permit connection to a proper
electric circuit. Make sure that the appliance is connected
to outlets having the same configuration as the plugs. No
adaptor should be used with this appliance. If the appli-
ance must be reconnected for use on a different type of
electric circuit, the reconnection should be made by quali-
fied service personnel.

thorized by Legend Brands. Modifications or use of
unapproved parts could create a hazard and will void

• Use only with cords supplied with the unit, or 12
gauge or larger cords.
• The unit must be plugged into two 15 amp
115V/60 Hz circuits.
