Operating the system
Turn on supply pump
ly supply fresh water to the VT1200 or VC700.
As you operate the VT1200 or VC700, waste water will
automatically be pumped into the VersaPort tank.
Emptying the tank
When you notice extracted water is no
longer flowing into the recovery tank,
empty recovery tank and refill the fresh
water bladder.
Stop operation. Move unit to jani-
tor's closet or other suitable floor drain and empty
waste water from tank. Refill the bladder with fresh wa-
ter (see "Filling and draw tube setup, p. 2) and return
the unit to the cleaning site to resume cleaning. IM-
PORTANT: Always drain all waste water before refilling
with fresh water. Waste water in the tank will prevent
proper refilling.

Optional drain spout
To help control splashing while draining the unit, the
VersaPort is provided with an optional angled spout. To
install, slide spout over drain outlet.
NOTICE: Avoid exposing the tank liner to excessive amounts of the solvent-based cleaning agents typically used
in spot remover products. Damage will not occur in normal use, but if you encounter an area containing exces-
sive solvents, be sure to flush carpet thoroughly while extracting, empty the tank promptly, and rinse off the ex-
terior of the tank liner thoroughly before returning the unit to service.
