With Hose (Model 5475)
Fully close
stove burner
valves by turning
clockwise hand
tight.
Attach hose to
5430 regulator
and thread onto
stove as shown in Fig. 12.
Connect hose to refillable LP-gas
cylinder, open valve of LP-gas cylinder,
and perform leak check procedure
on all connections. Reference 'Leak
Check' section for instructions.
When not in use, follow the
instructions below to disconnect
your hose and adaptor from your
appliance.
1. Purge remaining gas pressure in the
hose by closing the valve on the
refillable LP-gas cylinder while the
stove is lit.
2. Wait until the flame has self-
extinguished
3. Close all stove burner valves by
turning clockwise hand tight.
4. Disconnect hose from each end. At
this point you can also remove the
5430 regulator.
WARNING
• The gas flow must be turned off at
the refillable LP-gas cylinder when
the stove is not in use.
• When the refillable LP-gas cylinder
is connected to the stove, the
stove and cylinder shall be stored
outdoors, in a well-ventilated space,
out of the reach of children, and shall
not be stored in a building, garage,
or any other enclosed area.
• Storage of the stove indoors is
permissible only if the cylinder is
disconnected and removed from the
stove.
• Cylinders shall be stored outdoors,
in a well-ventilated space, out of the
reach of children, and shall not be
stored in a building, garage, or any
enclosed area.

To Light
ROTARY
Electronic Ignition
Set on sturdy, flat surface. For outdoor
use only.
Fully open burner valve by rotating
counterclockwise and repeatedly twist
igniter knob until you hear a 'click',
allowing the igniter knob to return to
center before twisting again. Perform
this action until burner lights.

NOTE: If igniter
fails to light
stove, use
match to light
burner. If the
stove is wet the
igniter may not
spark.
Adjust flame
with burner
valve.

blue with
a hint of

To Turn Off
Close burner
valve firmly
by rotating
clockwise
hand tight.

To Clean
Make sure stove and accessory grill and
griddle (if equipped) are cool. Move stove
away from flame (including pilot lights)
and other ignition sources.
Remove propane cylinder from
regulator and replace protective cap
on cylinder. (Fig. 17)
Remove regulator from stove. (Fig. 18)
