Storage
WARNING
■ Children are not aware of and cannot assess
the dangers of a charging management. Chil‐
dren can be seriously injured or killed.
► Disconnect the plug from the socket.
► Store the charging management out of the
reach of children.
■ The charging management is not protected
against all ambient conditions. If the charging
management is exposed to certain ambient
conditions, it may get damaged.
► Disconnect the plug from the socket.
► Store the charging management is clean
and dry conditions.
► Store the charging management in an
enclosed space.
► Do not store the charging management out‐
side of the specified temperature limits,

■ Harsh detergents, cleaning with a water jet or
sharp objects can damage the charging man‐
agement. If the charging management is not
cleaned correctly, components may no longer
function properly or safety devices may be
rendered inoperative. People may suffer seri‐
ous injuries as a result.
► Always clean the charging management as
described in this user manual.
■ If the charging management is not serviced or
repaired correctly, components may no longer
function properly or safety devices may be
rendered inoperative. People may suffer seri‐
ous or fatal injuries as a result.
► Do not attempt to service or repair the
charging management.
■ If the connecting cable is faulty or damaged:
► Replace the connecting cable.

5.1
Preparing the Charging Man‐
agement for Operation
The following steps must always be performed
before commencing work:
► Make sure the charging management is in a
safe condition,
► If you cannot carry out these steps: Do not use
the charging management and contact a
STIHL authorized dealer for assistance.

Using the charging man‐
agement
6.1
Mounting the charging man‐
agement
► The charging management should be moun‐
ted in such a way that the following conditions
are fulfilled:
– Use suitable mounting materials.
– The diameter of the screws is 4.8 mm mini‐
mum.
– Matching washers with an outside diameter
of 15 mm are used.
The charging management can be mounted
against the wall, on a shelf or in a cabinet.
► The charging management should be aligned
so that the power outlets point down or side‐
ways.
► Mount and fasten the charging management
with four screws.
6.2
Connecting the charging man‐
agement
The charging management can power up to
twelve chargers. Chargers plugged into sockets
1 to 3 are prioritized for being supplied with
power.
For best charging results, STIHL recommends
connecting the following chargers overnight to
the charging management:
