Fitting the screen to the motorcycle:
1. Stand your motorbike up on a level surface.
2. Remove the original shield.
3. Install the holding plates with the included Allen screws, size M6 x 16 mm for the front
and M6 x 20 mm for the rear, as depicted in figure1.
4. Take the lower section of the Varioscreen and screw on the four rubber nuts from the
inner side onto the M5 x 16 mm Allen screws (inserted through from the outside) so
that the rubber nuts contact the screen without placing it under pressure. (Figure 2)
5. Attach the lower section onto the pre-assembled holding plates by slightly extending
the screen and placing the rubber nuts into the proper holes. Tighten the screws of
the rubber nuts. (Figure 3)
6. Assembly of the upper section is explained in separate instructions.
7. Adjust the angle of slope to the flattest position and tighten the appropriate four
screws.
8. All four screws must be loosened in order to adjust the angle.
After installation, check that all of the screws are tight; tighten them up if necessary. Repeat this at
regular intervals. Clean the screen with water, neutral soap and a sponge. Do not use solvents, alcohol or
